Scheme-specific financial assistance
The Department of Trade and Industry will provide the following compensation in respect of the types of entities as listed below:
- HDI's
- 100% of the costs of an economy class return airfare up to a maximum of R10 000
- Subsistence allowance: Exhibitors are allowed to claim a subsistence allowance of R1 350/day for the duration of the exhibition up to a maximum of 15 days
- Transport of samples or promotional materials, including forwarding and clearing chargesup to a maximum of R15 000
- Development of marketing materials up to a maximum of R15 000
- SMME's
- 80% of the costs of an economy class return airfare up to to a maximum of R8 000
- Subsistence allowance: Exhibitors are allowed to claim a subsistence allowance of R1 350/day for the duration of the exhibition up to a maximum of 15 days
- Transport of samples or promotional materials, including forwarding and clearing chargesup to a maximum of R15 000
- Development of marketing materials up to a maximum of R15 000
- Other-sized entities
- No support is provided to other-sized entities
