Primary Market Research (PMR)
Introduction
The Department of Trade and Industry (thedti) provides a range of export incentive schemes aimed at providing financial assistance for exporters and umbrella organisations (such as export councils, trade associations, etc.) to help them with their export marketing activities. One of these incentives is financial assistance for an exporter to undertake Primary Marketing Research. This assistance is provided to partially compensate exporters for costs incurred in researching and developing new markets. The Department has compiled a comprehensive "Guidelines" document that you can download by clicking here.
